The earlier the start the better!

How old do I have to be to travel on a Mission Trip?

We do not have set age limits for any of our Mission Trips. We approach each traveler and story on a case by case basis. Young children traveling with families are normal for us. We try to provide each traveler with the correct information needed to decide if they would be comfortable and able to complete a Mission Trip safely and healthily.

What do I need to pack for a Mission Trip?

Each Mission Trip is different but all Mission Trips have a ‘Mission Trip Guide’ that is found in your profile once you register. It includes a thorough list of everything you need to bring. Like your Passport.

What if I want to go, but can’t complete the financial goals needed for the Mission Trip in time?

First of all, our staff are all avid travelers and we understand the step of faith it sometimes takes to register for a Mission Trip when you aren’t sure about finances. That said, 96% of everyone who has ever registered with Conduit Mission has been successful in being able to complete full payment. We believe God provides. We also lay out financial goals over periods of time to help ease the process. Also, through your online profile, you can see how your progress is coming. In the event there is absolute need for a cancellation, we provide a list of options in your initial financial agreement in which you can decide what happens to any funds you have paid.

I am not part of a group or church that is traveling with you. Can I still come?

Absolutely! Most of our teams are made of folks who come from different departure points, and it is not unusual for us to have folks from all over create one incredible team. We work hard to assimilate everyone and focus on quickly building team dynamics, providing each individual traveler with an equaling life changing adventure and long lasting relationships to carry onwards.

Do I have to have a visa to enter the country?

Depending on your country of departure, almost always the answer is Yes. Most countries assign or offer a visa upon entry. Conduit Mission will notify you if the Mission Trip you have registered for requires a pre-arranged visa.

Do I have to have shots?

Conduit Mission follows the CDC standard for recommended shots. Some countries require certain vaccinations in order to obtain an entry visa. In this case, it is not objectionable and is required for travel. Conduit Mission will notify you if the Mission Trip you are registering for requires these vaccinations.

What’s with the name?

Noun: a pipe or tube through which something passes.

Here at Basecamp Conduit Mission we strive to be just that. We are a pass through… getting people, finances, and tangible goods to where they are needed most in the world. We work hard to strengthen relationships around the globe partnering people with with a heart to give with people with needs. And if we are doing it right, then nothing gets in the way of the Conduit itself- meaning what comes in goes out. It is a philosophy we are still growing in as our organization continues to grow, but the one we keep paramount in front of us every step of the way. We believe that as followers of Jesus we are called to be ‘Conduits’ to all those around us, both locally and around the world.
