About
Conduit Mission is an organization that is your conduit to changing the world.
We exist to be your conduit of delivering your time, treasure, talents, and influence to people who need you most.
Our Story
K.P. Yohannan, founder of Gospel for Asia, in his book Revolution of World Missions urged every North American Christian to ask themselves two questions–
Why do you think God has allowed you to be born in the Global North…and to be blessed with such material and spiritual abundance?
In light of the superabundance you enjoy, what do you think is your minimal responsibility to the untold millions of lost and suffering in the world?
When you answer those questions, it leads to one more question. Who can I trust to help me make a difference?
It was that question that led to Darren Tyler founding Conduit Mission in 2007.
We are a simple organization that exists for you to make maximum impact. In our 14 years, we have had the honor of being the conduit of almost 1000 missionaries to countries around the world. We have been the conduit of over $3M in building orphanages, schools, clinics, churches as well as serving thousands of meals a year to children living in extreme poverty.
Our most honored role is that of a conduit of Jesus. We believe that without Jesus we can leave people with a full belly and an empty heart. He promised us that through us would flow rivers of living water when we come together, as conduits of the Holy Spirit.
As we continue in our second decade, we are not slowing down. We are expanding to reach more nations, and alleviate the suffering of those within our reach. We are grateful to the Lord for bringing us this far and excited to see where He leads us next.

Darren Tyler
Founder
After twenty years as an executive in the music industry Darren embarked on a new journey when he founded Conduit Church in Franklin, TN. Under Darren’s leadership Conduit quickly became a platform from which global mission work has been the centerpiece. He currently serves as the lead pastor of Conduit while splitting his time planting churches in developing nations. To date, Conduit has planted over 50 churches in South America, Africa, and Asia with a strategy for 100 more in Southeast Asia by 2035. It was a long journey from the backstages of America’s largest concert venues to the backwoods of some of the most remote places on earth. But, as Darren often says, the easy places are taken.
Darren is an author and communicator who has spoken at churches and conferences across the United States and the world. He has been married thirty years to Shannon and is the father of four grown children, Madilyn, Ashleigh, Lauryn, and Ethan. Shannon and Darren live just outside of Franklin on a 25-acre homestead that takes up any time he might have had for hobbies.

Eric Newberry
Missions Pastor
Eric's passion and calling is to be a voice for the voiceless. For over a decade, Eric has been involved in mission work in places like Pakistan, Uganda, India, Peru, and other nations, where he’s had the opportunity to preach the gospel at large stadium crusades, as well as on television and radio. Folklore has it that he grew his beard to fit in while in these other countries. Eric was a Mission Pastor at several churches and was a high-producing real estate agent, helping fund mission work, where his tagline was "Trust The Beard."
He is married to an incredible woman named Sammie and they have a beautiful daughter named Lillie! The Newberrys are from Cincinnati, OH, and moved to middle Tennessee at the end of 2021 specifically to partner with Conduit, and are so very grateful that they did.

Glenda Bashor
Missionary Liaison
Glenda is a career missionary, having served along with her husband, Andrew, in 15 years of ministry. Following leading corporate worship, entrepreneurialism, and working in corporate America, they ‘retired’ and both became reservists in Hope Force, a disaster response agency. Through multiple deployments, they were able to fully realize their love for serving people in the hour of their greatest need- often after having lost everything they owned. They served Hope Force through many natural disasters including hurricanes, tornadoes, and wildfires. In 2015 they relocated to their native homeland of Canada, where they serve with various organizations in responding in crisis situations as well as alongside their local churches in developing preparedness to serve their community in crisis. Glenda also serves Conduit Mission, overseeing the registration process and helping make sure everyone has what they need in order to keep up with the schedule and paperwork. She is an invaluable part of the Conduit MIssion team and an incredible example to all of us that there is no such thing as retirement!

Amy Roberts
Bookkeeper
Amy is our bookkeeper extraordinaire. She and her family have attended Conduit Church since its very beginning, serving there since day one. She handles the many challenges of keeping each payment and donation on track. If the intention of our efforts is to truly be a conduit to other people, Amy is likely one of our most important roles. She keeps the conduit itself from getting bogged down and helps in dispersing funds all around the globe, as needed when needed.
